Tithing is the biblical practice of giving the first 10% of our income back to God. In Scripture, God established the tithe as a way for His people to honor Him, support His house, and demonstrate trust in His provision.
Tithing is not just about money — it is a spiritual discipline that shows God is first in our lives. It’s an act of obedience, gratitude, and faith, acknowledging that everything we have comes from Him.

An offering is a free-will gift given to God, above and beyond the tithe. While the tithe is the first 10% that belongs to the Lord, offerings come from a grateful and willing heart as an act of love, generosity, and worship.
Offerings can be given to support the work of ministry, help those in need, or sow into special assignments God places on your heart.
While tithing is an act of obedience, offerings are an act of generosity—a way to honor God with what He has blessed you with and to partner with Him in advancing His Kingdom.
-
Biblically, a tithe means “a tenth,” or 10%. Tithing is a way of honoring God by giving the first portion of what He has provided. While 10% is the biblical principle of the tithe, we encourage you to give prayerfully, faithfully, and with a willing heart, trusting God as you grow in your journey of generosity.
-
To give cheerfully means to give to God with a willing, joyful, and thankful heart, not out of pressure, guilt, or obligation.
Cheerful giving comes from understanding that everything we have is a blessing from God. Instead of feeling burdened by giving, we see it as a privilege to honor Him and invest into His work.
Cheerful giving reflects a heart aligned with God—one that gives freely, generously, and joyfully.
